New Mexico High School Baseball - San Jon loses to Floyd
The Floyd Broncos baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting San Jon Coyotes to 1 in the Broncos league victory on Friday.
The Broncos (13-6) will now prepare for their match against Logan (Logan, NM). The Longhorns go into the 1A District 3 match with a 8-10 record. In their last match, Logan notched a victory over Grady (Grady, NM), 18-1, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, San Jon falls to 2-10 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Melrose (Melrose, NM) to battle the Buffaloes in a 1A District 3 challenge on Monday, April 23. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Melrose won 7-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Portales (Portales, NM)
