The Belen Eagles basketball team (Belen, NM), was nudged 67-60 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM)
The Bengals now possess a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Lunas for a 4A District 6 battle on Friday, February 14. Gallup will confront a Tigers team coming off a 75-60 league win over Grants (Grants, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 17-5.
The Eagles (8-13) will now prepare for their battle against Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Patriots come into the 4A District 6 battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, Miyamura was nudged by Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 52-38, in a league battle.
