Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) and the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), saw Bernalillo's basketball squad hold off Los Alamos by a score of 51-48.

With the victory, Bernalillo improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Jaguars in a 4A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 13-4.

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Los Alamos will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 64-58 league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM).
