The Cimarron Rams basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Des Moines Demons to 54 in the Rams league triumph on Thursday.

The Rams now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springer for a A District 5 contest on Saturday, February 4. Cimarron will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 45-42 league win over Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-9.

The Demons (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM). The Blue or Lady Blue enter the A District 5 contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Roy/Mosquero was defeated by Maxwell (Maxwell, NM), 57-54, in a league contest.
