New Mexico High School Basketball - Maxwell overwhelmed by Cimarron
The Cimarron Rams basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Maxwell Bears to 24 in the Rams league victory on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Des Moines for a 1A District 1 contest on Saturday, January 24. Cimarron will meet a Demons team coming off a 70-63 non-league loss to South Baca County [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] (Vilas, CO). The Demons record now stands at 7-9.
The Bears (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM). The Trojans come into the 1A District 1 contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Wagon Mound trounced Moreno Valley (Angel Fire, NM), 66-38, in a league contest.
