The Springer Red Devils basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Cimarron Rams to 28 in the Red Devils league victory on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Jon for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 15. Springer will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 66-38 league loss to Elida (Elida, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 8-11.

The Rams (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Questa (Questa, NM). The Wildcats come into the 1A District 1 contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Questa was routed by Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM), 61-58, in a non-league contest.
