New Mexico High School Basketball - Wagon Mound topped by Cimarron
The Cimarron Rams basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Wagon Mound Trojans to 50 in the Rams league victory on Saturday.
The Rams now sport a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Springer for a 1A District 1 contest on Friday, February 6. Cimarron will meet a Devils team coming off a 94-68 league win over Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Devils record now stands at 18-2.
The Trojans (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Roadrunners come into the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, New Mexico School for the Deaf was defeated by Santa Fe Waldorf (Santa Fe, NM), 50-26, in a league contest.
