With the win, Clovis Christian upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Eagles host Tatum (Tatum, NM) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Tatum lost 56-45 in their recent non-league bout against Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM)

Next up, the Broncos play the Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Floyd will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
