The San Jon Coyotes basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Clovis Christian Eagles to 42 in the Coyotes league victory on Saturday.

The Coyotes now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grady for a B District 2 contest on Thursday, February 21. San Jon will battle a Broncos team coming off a 45-28 league win over Elida (Elida, NM). The Broncos record now stands at 13-10.

The Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Elida (Elida, NM). The Tigers come into the B District 2 contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Elida was routed by Melrose (Melrose, NM), 71-52, in a non-league contest.
