Clovis Christian Eagles (Clovis, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host San Jon Coyotes (San Jon, NM), 52-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Clovis Christian upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Melrose (Melrose, NM) to play the Buffaloes in a A District 6 bout on Tuesday, April 27. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Melrose won 62-28 in their recent non-league bout against Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Logan Longhorns (Logan, NM) in a A District 6 bout, on Tuesday, April 27. San Jon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 86-33 league win over San Jon (San Jon, NM).
