The Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM), 69-43 in Wednesday's league test.

The Wildcats (17-6) will now prepare for their test against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Desert Warriors go into the 4A District 3 test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, Santa Teresa was trounced by Chaparral (Chaparral, NM), 48-44, in a league test.

The Fighting Colts now own a 11-12 record. They take the field next when they host Chaparral for a 4A District 3 test on Friday, February 13. Silver will clash with a Lobos squad coming off a 48-44 league win over Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Lobos record now stands at 10-13.
