In Tuesday's league outing, the Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM), by a count of 74-37.

The Cardinals (15-5) will now prepare for their outing against Loving (Loving, NM). The Falcons go into the 3A District 4 outing with a 11-3 record. In their last outing, Loving was crushed by Hagerman (Hagerman, NM), 64-53, in a non-league outing.

The Demons now hold a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Texico for a 3A District 4 outing on Friday, February 6. Dexter will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 88-83 league loss to Loving (Loving, NM). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-9.
