Floyd Broncos (Floyd, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM), 76-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Floyd upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Broncos travel to Melrose (Melrose, MN) to clash with the Dutchmen in a non-league bout on Friday, December 5. The Dutchmen go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Melrose won 73-63 in their recent league bout against Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN)

Next up, the Demons clash with the Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 5. Dexter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 69-55 non-league loss to Melrose (Melrose, NM).
