With the victory, Lovington improves its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats host New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM) to battle the Colts in a 3A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 10. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 10-12. New Mexico Military Institute lost 61-30 in their recent league challenge against Portales (Portales, NM)

Next up, the Demons battle the Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 9. Dexter will attempt to improve on its 6-16 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 62-38 league loss to Hagerman (Hagerman, NM).
