Logan Longhorns (Logan, NM) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Grady/House Bronchos (Grady, NM), 53-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Logan upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Dora/Elida (Dora, NM) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Friday, January 9. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Dora/Elida won 54-52 in their recent non-league bout against San Jon (San Jon, NM)

Next up, the Bronchos play the Fort Sumner Foxes/Vixens (Fort Sumner, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 10. Grady/House will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Foxes/Vixens go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 74-49 non-league loss to Texico (Texico, NM).
