The Logan Longhorns basketball team scored 89 points and restricted the host San Jon Coyotes to 7 in the Longhorns league victory on Thursday.

The Longhorns now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Sumner/House for a A District 6 contest on Saturday, February 12. Logan will battle a team coming off a 57-56 league win over Melrose (Melrose, NM). The record now stands at 13-3.

The Coyotes (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Springer (Springer, NM). The Red Devils come into the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Springer was routed by Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM), 59-43, in a league contest.
