McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Questa Wildcats (Questa, NM), 57-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, McCurdy upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM) to play the Lobos in a 2A District 5 bout on Thursday, April 29. The Lobos come into the bout with a record of 9-1. Escalante won 73-34 in their recent league bout against Mora (Mora, NM)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM) in a 2A District 5 bout, on Thursday, April 29. Questa will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 57-38 league win over Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM).
