In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Texico Wolverines basketball team scored a decisive 75-47 triumph over the Melrose Buffaloes.
In their next game, the Wolverines meet the Clayton Yellowjackets (Clayton, NM) in a 2A District 4 match, on Friday, February 14. Texico will attempt to move on its 20-2 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 19-2 record after their 73-49 league win over Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM).
