The Thunderbirds now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newcomb for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Zuni will meet a Sky Hawks team coming off a 60-59 non-league loss to Thoreau (Thoreau, NM). The Sky Hawks record now stands at 3-2.

The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Quemado (Quemado, NM). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Quemado nudged Bovina (Bovina, TX), 46-41, in a non-league contest.
