New Mexico High School Basketball - Springer trounces Wagon Mound
The Springer Devils (Springer, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Wagon Mound Trojans (Wagon Mound, NM), 91-69 in Friday's league test.
The Devils (17-3) will now prepare for their test against Cimarron (Cimarron, NM). The Rams go into the 1A District 1 test with a 18-8 record. In their last test, Cimarron walloped Maxwell (Maxwell, NM), 77-41, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roy for a 1A District 1 test on Saturday, February 16. Wagon Mound will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 70-44 league loss to Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Longhorns record now stands at 2-10.
