The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 11-10. Shiprock won 70-65 in their recent league challenge against Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM)

Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) in a 4A District 1 challenge, on Saturday, February 7. Zuni will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 6-15 record after their 67-60 league loss to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM).
