New Mexico High School Basketball - Springer ripped by Cimarron
The Cimarron Rams basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Springer Red Devils to 31 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Des Moines for a A District 5 contest on Saturday, February 16. Cimarron will battle a Demons team coming off a 52-29 non-league loss to Kim/Branson (Kim, CO). The Demons record now stands at 13-8.
The Red Devils (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against Maxwell (Maxwell, NM). The Bears enter the A District 5 contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Maxwell was routed by Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM), 47-42, in a league contest.
