Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Dora Coyotes (Dora, NM), 17-13 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they host Loving for a A/2A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Eunice will face a Falcons squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Jal (Jal, NM). The Falcons record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Dora falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Jal (Jal, NM) to face the Panthers in a A/2A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 9-10. Jal lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Loving (Loving, NM)
