New Mexico High School Softball - Farmington bounces Gallup
Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) and the visiting Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), witnessed Farmington's softball squad tip Gallup by a count of 13-8.
The Scorpions now sport a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Bloomfield for a non-league match on Friday, April 10. Farmington will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 22-0 league win over Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Gallup moves to 9-7 on the season. The Bengals travel to Grants (Grants, NM) to confront the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 7. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Grants won 16-4 in their recent non-league bout against Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM)
