Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) and the visiting Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM), observed Des Moines's volleyball team top Springer by a count of 3-1.

The Demons (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM). The Trojans enter the 1A District 5 contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Wagon Mound was knocked off by Maxwell (Maxwell, NM), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Red Devils battle the Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue (Roy, NM) in a 1A District 5 contest, on Thursday, October 16. Springer will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Blue/Lady Blue enter the contest with a 13-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Des Moines (Des Moines, NM).
