Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) and the host Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM), observed Des Moines's volleyball team top Springer by a count of 3-1.

The Demons (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM). The Trojans enter the 1A District 5 contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Wagon Mound was knocked off by Cimarron (Cimarron, NM), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Red Devils meet the Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue (Roy, NM) in a 1A District 5 contest, on Thursday, October 17. Springer will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Blue/Lady Blue enter the contest with a 13-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Des Moines (Des Moines, NM).
