The Demons (15-2) will now prepare for their bout against New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM). The Colts come into the 3A District 4 bout with a 9-7 record. In their last bout, New Mexico Military Institute fell by Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM), 3-0, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Mescalero Apache drops to 2-14 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM) to clash with the Mavericks in a 2A District 3 bout on Thursday, October 17. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Lordsburg won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Reserve (Reserve, NM)
