New Mexico High School Volleyball - San Jon can't hold off Logan
In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Logan Longhorns volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the San Jon Coyotes.
The Longhorns now have a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clovis Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 20. Logan will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Santa Fe Waldorf (Santa Fe, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 8-1.
The Coyotes (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Floyd (Floyd, NM). The Broncos enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Floyd was nudged by Melrose (Melrose, NM), 3-0, in a non-league test.
