Fans at Monday's league contest between the Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) and the host Wagon Mound Trojans (Wagon Mound, NM), observed Maxwell's volleyball team top Wagon Mound by a count of 3-0.

The Bears (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cimarron (Cimarron, NM). The Rams enter the 1A District 5 contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Cimarron was knocked off by Des Moines (Des Moines, NM), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Trojans battle the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) in a 1A District 5 battle, on Thursday, November 6. Wagon Mound will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record.
