Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Basic Wolves (Henderson, NV) and the visiting Boulder City Eagles (Boulder City, NV), saw Basic's basketball squad hold off Boulder City by a count of 50-47.

The Wolves (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Green Valley (Henderson, NV). The Gators go into the Sunrise - Southeast test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Green Valley got by Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV), 68-55, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Needles for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 6. Boulder City will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 65-53 non-league win over Clovis North (Fresno, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-5.
