Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), 8-1 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Valleys for a I Northern challenge on Thursday, April 14. Reno will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 10-8 league loss to Carson (Carson City, NV). The Panthers record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, McQueen falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Lancers host Douglas (Minden, NV) to battle the Tigers in a I Northern challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-9.
