New York High School Basketball - Dunkirk tipped by Olean
The Olean Huskies basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Dunkirk Marauders to 52 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Monday.
The Huskies now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maple Grove for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West contest on Thursday, January 26. Olean will meet a Red Dragons team coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Clymer Central (Clymer, NY). The Red Dragons record now stands at 6-8.
The Marauders (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Shore (Angola, NY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Lake Shore was nudged by Maryvale (Cheektowaga, NY), 53-44, in a league contest.
