Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY), 68-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Peekskill upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Red Devils host Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY) to clash with the Warriors in a Section 1 Conference 2E bout on Monday, February 4. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Our Lady of Lourdes lost 73-58 in their recent league bout against Beacon (Beacon, NY)

Next up, the Mounties clash with the Ramapo Gryphons (Spring Valley, NY) in a Section 1 Conference 1C bout, on Monday, February 4. Suffern will attempt to upgrade on its 15-1 season record. The Gryphons go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 46-43 league loss to North Rockland (Thiells, NY).
