The Olean Huskies routed the visiting Gowanda Panthers softball squad by a final score of 6-1 in Thursday's league battle.
The Huskies (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Portville (Portville, NY). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last bout, Portville held off Randolph (Randolph, NY), 16-6, in a league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Collins for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 14. Gowanda will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Cattaraugus-Little Valley (Cattaraugus, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 4-9.
