The Piqua Indians (Piqua, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Covington Buccs (Covington, OH), 63-56 in Friday's non-league test.
The Indians (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Xenia (Xenia, OH). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Xenia was tipped by Indian Hill (Cincinnati, OH), 72-70, in a non-league test.
The Buccs now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ansonia for a Cross County test on Friday, January 9. Covington will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 75-23 non-league win over Union (Modoc, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
