The Sheldon Irish the visiting Willamette Wolverines baseball team by a count of 5-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Irish now possess a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grant for a 6A Southwest bout on Friday, April 12. Sheldon will face a Generals team coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Benson Tech (Portland, OR). The Generals record now stands at 10-3.
Next, the Wolverines face the Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 12. Willamette will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Colts enter the bout with a 8-3 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Springfield (Springfield, OR).

Coaches Game Summary
Sheldon came from behind again to win, this time against Willamette. Justin Brabham hit a 2-run double in the bottom of the fifth inning to give the Irish a lead and they added three more runs in the 6th to open up what was a great Pitcher's duel between Sheldon's Mike Ralston and Willamette's Tanner Cantwell.
