The Imbler Panthers volleyball team (Imbler, OR), was nudged 3-2 in Friday's league challenge with the host Pine Eagle Spartans (Halfway, OR)

The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Horseshoe Bend (Horseshoe Bend, ID). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Horseshoe Bend nudged Meadows Valley (New Meadows, ID), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Cove Leopards (Cove, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon battle, on Thursday, September 29. Imbler will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Leopards come into the battle with a 3-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Joseph (Joseph, OR).
