The Golden Eagles defeated Port Allegany 70-21 advancing to the PIAA Class A Quarter Finals.Alex Ricketts led all scorers with 21 points.  Courtney Sargent added 17 points and 15 rebounds for the Kennedy Catholic.They will face the winner of Vincentian Academy and Berlin-Brothersvalley. 

KC Flies Past Port Allegany

 Kennedy Catholic used a 12-3 second-quarter run in topping North Catholic, 45-36, Saturday afternoon in the opening round of the PIAA Class A State Tournament.Alex Ricketts led the Golden Eagles with 16 points. Kennedy led 24-12 at halftime and 34-24 at the end of the third quarter.Kennedy Catholic improves to 23-2 overall. The Golden Eagles advance to face the winner of the Port Allegany - Penns Manor game. The second round showdown takes place Wednesday at a site to be determined.

KC Girls Stop North Catholic

Kennedy Catholic, PA - girls beat Farrell, 63-28 on Monday night.Alex Ricketts led all scorers with 18 points.  Rachel Burns added 14 points for the Golden Eagles, while Rebecca Kish chipped in 10.The Steelers' leading scorer was Johnta Scott with 13 points.
