Brian McLean discovered photography as he entered TCU to major in Communications.

While at TCU, McLean served as a Chief Photographer as well as Photo Editor for the university daily. His work earned him a First Place Award, Division II, Newspaper News Photo, an Honorable Mention with the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association, Division II as well as Third Place for Best Feature Photo with the Southwestern Journalism Congress for his work on the student produced Image Magazine.

Upon graduation, McLean worked as a freelance photographer in the capacities of editorial, music and sports where he was published in various printed publications.

McLean served as team photographer for the Fort Worth Fire in their inaugural season. He also photographed the Dallas Stars where his work appeared on hockey trading cards for Topps Finest, Fleer Power Play, Premier Hockey as well as Pro Hockey Magazine, various game programs and a poster in Swedish Hockey Magazine.

Life took McLean in a different direction but he has since picked up his cameras to continue where he left off. He’s looking forward to capturing new images.
