I’m Chip DeLorenzo and I live in Naperville, IL with my wife Dara, my three sons Ithan, Casey, and Bake along with Fleury the husky and Stanley the rescue dog. I was an athlete a long time ago. I grew up in Allentown, PA where my dad taught me how to hit and field a baseball. I finished my baseball career as Cornell University’s second baseman. My mom documented it all over the years using a variety of cameras.

My sons are as passionate about the sports they play as I was with baseball. Ithan loves hockey who plays for the Naperville Sabres and is an All-State forward at Naperville North High School. Casey loves baseball and plays for the Naperville Renegades and Naperville North High School. Blake is an aspiring hockey goalie who plays in the Naperville Sabres organization.

I’ve come full circle at this point in my life. My love of watching my sons pursue their passion through the lens of my camera expanded when I established Chipshots Sports Photography two years ago. I feel that my experience as a college athlete helps me to anticipate action as it plays out on the field.
