My name is Jarod Mills, and my journey into photography began in earnest in 2011. Growing up, I developed a passion for capturing moments, inspired by my fathers Pentax SLR and my own point-and-shoot camera. During my deployment to Iraq in 2011, I delved into photography through an introductory book, reading it cover to cover multiple times.

Upon returning home, I invested in my first DSLR, marking the beginning of my professional endeavors. Over the years, Ive explored various photography genres, from lifestyle, maternity and newborn shoots to weddings. However, it was when my children began competing in sports that I discovered my true calling in sports photography.

Capturing the intensity and emotion of athletic events has become my greatest artistic passion and challenge. Each shot holds the potential for a breathtaking moment frozen in time, showcasing both the athleticism of the players and the artistry behind the lens.
