StrengthsLa Salle enters the 2026 season led by three-time All-State Senior pitcher Hailey Vigneau, a dominant frontline ace and leading candidate for RI Gatorade Player of the Year. In 2025, Vigneau logged 128+ innings with a sub-1.40 ERA, a WHIP under 1.00, and over 150 strikeouts, anchoring another championship run and setting the tone for a program built for big moments.
Offensively, the Rams return a veteran lineup capable of sustained pressure and game-changing damage. The returning core posted a team OBP north of .400 in 2025, with multiple double-digit extra-base hit producers. Senior CF Elle Kershaw (.357/.500/.839, 7 HR, 23 RBI) and senior C Samantha Sell (.302/.524/.721, 5 HR, 23 RBI) headline a disciplined, powerful middle of the order. Junior SS Nikki Pallotta (.368/.438/.500, 2 HR, 16 RBI) provides consistency and toughness up the middle, and junior Kayleigh Ventura (.344/.440/.750, 5 HR, 20 RBI) adds experienced extra-base impact to a deep, disciplined lineup.

NewcomersLeft-handed slapper Sophia Morgan (So, OF) enters the 2026 season as a high-upside sophomore to watch after gaining valuable varsity experience as a freshman. In 2025, Morgan posted a .353 OBP in 34 PAs with 6 walks, 4 stolen bases, and a competitive contact profile, showing advanced plate discipline and athleticism. With increased reps and confidence, she projects as a reliable on-base option at the top of the order with speed and elite baserunning instincts, capable of expanding her offensive impact in a larger role this season.
La Salle's pitching staff is led by Marist-bound RHP senior Hailey Vigneau, a three-time All-State ace and the most accomplished pitcher in the region. Vigneau gives the Rams a true frontline arm capable of controlling games from start to finish and setting the tone in high-leverage matchups. As the starting and winning pitcher in three consecutive state championship games (2023-25), there is no more experienced postseason arm in New England.
Vigneau is complemented by RHP sophomore Gia DeNinno, an emerging ace who showed strong efficiency and poise in limited action as a freshman. DeNinno provides valuable depth behind the staff leader, with her role expected to expand in 2026.
With a proven No. 1, an ascending No. 2, and room for a third arm to emerge, La Salle enters the season with both stability and upside in the circle, positioning the staff to manage workloads, attack matchups, and peak when postseason play begins.
