Daniel Lions (Central, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pendleton Bulldogs (Pendleton, SC), 65-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Daniel upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Lions host Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC) to play the Bears in a AAA Region 1 bout on Friday, January 28. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-18. Belton-Honea Path lost 105-50 in their recent league bout against Wren (Piedmont, SC)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Seneca Bobcats (Seneca, SC) in a AAA Region 1 bout, on Wednesday, January 26. Pendleton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 89-33 league win over Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC).
