The Daniel Lions (Central, SC) basketball knocked off the visiting Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC), 62-46 in Friday's league test.

The Lions (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Palmetto (Williamston, SC). The Mustangs go into the AAA Region I test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Palmetto notched a victory over West-Oak (Westminster, SC), 59-41, in a league test.

The Blue Flame now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palmetto for a AAA Region I contest on Tuesday, February 10. Pickens will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 62-58 league loss to Daniel (Central, SC). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-12.
