South Carolina High School Basketball - Seneca overwhelmed by Daniel
The Daniel Lions basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Seneca Bobcats to 44 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 19-2 record. They play next when they host Belton-Honea Path for a AAA Region I contest on Tuesday, February 3. Daniel will meet a Bears team coming off a 56-52 league loss to Pickens (Pickens, SC). The Bears record now stands at 3-12.
The Bobcats (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Woodmont (Piedmont, SC). The Wildcats come into the AAA Region I contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Woodmont trounced West-Oak (Westminster, SC), 72-61, in a league contest.
