In Saturday's non-league outing, the Hemingway Tigers (Hemingway, SC) basketball squad nipped the host Kingstree Jaguars (Kingstree, SC), by a margin of 67-66.

The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Creek Bridge (Gresham, SC). The Warriors go into the A Region VIII outing with a 0-6 record.

The Jaguars now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Georgetown for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 5. Kingstree will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-43 non-league loss to Andrews (Andrews, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
