The Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Huron Tigers to 52 in the Golden Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a non-league contest on Friday, January 16. Aberdeen Central will battle a Rough Riders team coming off a 42-38 non-league loss to Stevens (Rapid City, SD). The Rough Riders record now stands at 7-2.
The Tigers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Kernels come into the AA District 3 contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Mitchell was nudged by Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD), 71-63, in a league contest.
