South Dakota High School Basketball - Cheyenne-Eagle Butte tipped by Winner
The Winner Warriors basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves to 48 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Francis Indian for a A Region 7 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Winner will meet a Warriors team coming off a 69-57 non-league win over Redfield/Doland (Redfield, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 8-6.
The Braves (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD). The Mustangs enter the A Region 6 contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, McLaughlin nudged Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD), 46-45, in a league contest.
