The Custer Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Hill City Rangers to 45 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis Indian for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 19. Custer will meet a Warriors team coming off a 64-58 league win over Little Wound (Kyle, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.
The Rangers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Little Wound (Kyle, SD). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Little Wound was defeated by St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD), 64-58, in a league contest.
