In Friday's league outing, the Gallatin Green Wave (Gallatin, TN) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Smyrna Bulldogs (Smyrna, TN), by a margin of 53-39.

The Green Wave (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against LaVergne (LaVergne, TN). The Wolverines go into the AAA District 9 outing with a 12-11 record. In their last outing, LaVergne topped Beech (Hendersonville, TN), 43-42, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-13 record. They take the field next when they host Siegel for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 7. Smyrna will clash with a Stars squad coming off a 89-74 league win over Warren County (McMinnville, TN). The Stars record now stands at 18-5.
